Olympic stars open Kent School Games

Double gold medalist Lizzy Yarnold was amongst three Kent Olympians to open the 10th annual Kent School Games in Canterbury this morning.

Yarnold was joined by sprinter Jack Green and Paralympic skier Millie Knight.

The day sees hundreds of youngsters from a number of schools across the county compete in various sports to be crowned Kent’s best.

Sports at the event ranged from infant bike rides to gymnastics.

The Kent School Games has seen successful alumni such as Jack Green amongst its ranks, as well as fellow Kent sprinter Adam Gemili.

I don't know
