During baby loss awareness week 400 pink and blue umbrellas will be displayed in St. Margaret\u2019s Church to represent the loss of pregnancies and infants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cNight under the Umbrellas\u201c exhibition will be held from the 9th<\/sup> to the 15th<\/sup> of October in Rainham and tickets for entry require a donation of \u00a310 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jamie Johnson and Josh Roots will also be performing at the venue in order to raise awareness for baby loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Charity group \u201cMaking Miracles\u201d have founded the event in order to bring awareness to the trauma of difficult and high-risk pregnancies as well as the loss of infants and pregnancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Founder Kelly Wells said: \u201cThis is a prime opportunity to let people know that they don\u2019t need to be alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe want to welcome the community to come together and have a moment of reflection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ms Wells experienced a traumatic high-risk pregnancy and the near loss of her daughter and after being unable to find any organisations to help with the trauma, turned to chatrooms to share her feelings of isolation and grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This sparked decided to form the charity group \u201cMaking Miracles\u201d to support parents and give them somewhere to turn when dealing with grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The charity offers professional counselling and support groups as well as memorial events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By Bethany Gerrish<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" During baby loss awareness week 400 pink and blue umbrellas will be displayed in St. Margaret\u2019s Church to represent the loss of pregnancies and infants.
