But Valentines day is back and its happening restriction free! As one of the first occasions after the easing of rules, companies are excited to splash out on making it special. So what is Kent doing to celebrate?

Many restaurants and venues are opening their doors and hearts to love this weekend. I looked at what Kent had to offer and found The George Vaults in Rochester, hosting a symphony of love. Carla Aris, the events manager is providing violinists and singers in each of their dining areas.

The occasion is important for us all to celebrate, especially after years of being unable to enjoy Valentines’ Day outside of our homes.

Providing a very personal occasion is The Lost Village of Dode, in Gravesend. Couples can enjoy an afternoon tea in inside their historic 900 year old church. Ceremony Coordinator, Becky Bosman is excited to welcome couples back to where they tied the knot.

And even our modern history replicates what Dode saw centuries ago.

Another venue that has survived the wrath of covid is The Orangery, a wedding venue in Maidstone. Head of Marketing, Emma Clark, is happy to see the industry thrive.

Providing a Valentine’s Wedding Showcase next weekend, Emma wants to once again enchant guests around this crucial time of year.

Kent has a lot to offer this valentines, with romance and love in abundance. Perhaps the struggles we all faced over the past few years have made us appreciate the occasion and want to celebrate love in all its forms.
