Ever since the dramatic cliffhanger of season 3, fans have been desperately waiting for answers. Well, the time is finally here so here are a few things to expect before you set off on your OITNB binge-watch.
Sophia will face some tough hurdles. Sophia had some pretty tough storylines in season four, and from what we’ve seen of fan reactions and promotional pictures so far, it doesn’t look like things will be looking up for her anytime soon.
Piper spirals further into rebellion. Season three saw Piper spiral further into newfound rebellious prison life and it doesn’t look like things are quietening down for her anytime soon, as promotional pictures show her in some pretty compromising positions. Here is to hoping that Piper pulls through this season unscathed.
Confrontation and betrayal. Season Four is sure to bring lots of moments that see our favourite characters go through emotional turmoil, including betrayal so it’s certain that season four will continue to bring all the features that we love about this show.
Alex is alive. In the dramatic season three finale, fans were left wondering if Alex would even make it to season four. However, after a year of waiting – promotional pictures and the official season four trailer have revealed that Alex did in fact survive her confrontation with the undercover prison guard. Although, now we are left with questions as to HOW she survived. Hopefully season four will provide us with not only some answers, but also some juicy flashbacks into this storyline.
Poussey and Soso. The end of season three left us wondering what would happen in regards to the newfound friendship of Soso and Poussey. EXCLUSIVE promotional pictures and a few seconds in the trailer have led fans to come to the assumption that we are to be expecting a romance blossom between these two favourites!
