It will be a relief for fans of the Indiana Jones franchise to know that the beloved character will not be killed off during the latest instalment of the saga. Indiana Jones 5 will be hitting the cinema in July 2019 when the films lead actor Harrison Ford will be 76 years old! However, fans are still expecting great things from this film. Many predicting that the story line will tie up any lose ends concerning Ford’s character and in doing so it will make way for another character to take over and lead the franchise. Spielberg confirms he won’t be revealing any other clues as to where the story will take us. Returning to work on the film will be script writer David Koepp (who co-wrote The Crystal Skull) and producers Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy.
Ford expresses his eagerness to start filming for the fifth instalment last year when it was reported he said it is “a good movie ride for the audience” adding his character ” has a history and potential”.
Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released on 19th July 2019.
