Arctic Sunrise released by Russia

The Greenpeace ship, Arctic Sunrise, has been released by Russian authorities.

The Russian coast guard impounded the ship and imprisoned 30 activists on board the ship after they made an attempt to board a Gazprom oilrig in September 2013.

All the activists were eventually released from prison after three months of international protests, but the Russian investigative committee impounded the ship.
