20-year-old Zara Holland has been stripped of her Miss Great Britain title due to controversial sex scene with 24-year-old scaffolder Alex Bowden live on the reality television show Love Island.
The official Miss Great Britain Organisation has informed the nation that it is with “deep regret” that they have to announce that Holland has been de-crowned. Many celebrities took to the social media site Twitter to voice their opinions. Including the Miss GB organisation who reassure that that have no issue with sex itself.

Vicky Pattison was one of the first to poke fun at Holland, tweeting “More like Miss BJ!” However many fans of the show took to Twitter in an outrage founding the decision to be sexist. With users stating “she doesn’t deserve this kind of embarrassment” adding “this wouldn’t happen to a man”.
Holland has expressed regret over this situation stating in an emotional video “that isn’t like me, that’s what I’m trying to say”.
However, Bowden who has previously dated I’m a Celeb Winner Vicky Pattison remains unaffected by this ordeal and stated before his appearance on the show that he would not oppose sex on national television, adding as soon as he has sex with any girl on the show they will be telling everyone how “unbelievable I am”. He has also admitted to finding Holland “a bit annoying”.

Holland will be replaced with Miss GB runner- up Deone Robertson who was previously Miss North Lanarkshire.
