BREAKING: £50m of cocaine washes up on Norfolk beaches
A huge 360kg haul of cocaine with an estimated value of £50m has washed up on two beaches in Norfolk.
The National Crime Agency (NCA) were alerted to the find by a member of the public and said a number of holdalls had washed up in Hopton-on-Sea and Caister-on-Sea, both near Great Yarmouth, on Thursday and Friday.
The NCA’s border investigation team said they are working with various organisations in a bid to solve the mystery of how the bags ended up on the beaches, and also said the seizure “will represent a major blow to the organised criminals involved.”
