Grammy Awards: The best looks from last year

With the 59th annual Grammy Awards show coming up this Sunday, where artists from all over the world are honoured, we take a look back at last year’s best looks.

Cutest plus one: Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber decided to bring his little brother to the Grammy’s last year, charming photographers all over the red carpet. He was so cute people didn’t even notice Justin’s horrible haircut

Best cape: Chrissy Teigen
Everyone’s favourite, Chrissy Teigen, wore a white gown with a killer cape. I mean, she’s a social media hero, so I guess it’s appropriate.

Best use of eyeshadow: Alessandra Ambrosio 
Alessandra Ambrosio decided to go all in on the eyeshadow, giving the smokey eye a whole new meaning. Am I the only one questioning if she’s actually a vampire after this?

Best haircut: Zendaya
This is hands down the best haircut that has ever made it to the red carpet, and the worst thing is that she actually pulls it off. Who else on earth would look good in this? Why do I look like a retired hockey groupie when I had tried this look? Why is this world so unfair???

Best prepared: Timbaland
Timbaland has been in the game for a while, and obviously knows how long the Grammys can drag on for, so he’s brought both a backpack (probably full of snacks and games) and a headset if he gets bored. Artists, take notes.

Best smurf-look-a-like: Lady Gaga
Could we even mention the Grammys without Gaga? The Superbowl legend always goes all out – with no exception last year. She is the fittest smurf I have ever seen.

Best half of a dress: Ciara
One half of this dress is absolutely amazing. Can you imagine what it would look like if the other half wasn’t missing?

Best use of aluminium foil: Bonnie McKee
I did not know who this was prior to the Grammy’s, but I have to give her credit for this highly reflective suit. I’m impressed the photographers weren’t blinded.

Best worn out biker look: Johnny Depp
Do you remember when he was hot, guys? I swear that was just a minute ago. Johnny D, what happened?

Most surprising back piece: Ellie Goulding
Ellie stepped out in this seemingly gorgeous dress, and then showed off her back necklace? Is that what it is? To me this dress says “A lady in the streets, but a freak in the bed.” Is she not as sweet as she seems?

Most impressive eyelashes: Ariana Grande
I don’t even think I could open my eyes with that amount of eyelashes, so let’s credit Ariana for her incredible efforts. She looks good doing it, too.

Most confusing necklace: Demi Lovato
Where does that necklace go? Is it painful? Cold? Is it chains the whole way round? So many questions.

Most impressive curtain: Carrie Underwood
God knows in what room this curtain used to hang, but there is no doubt it looks better on Carrie. Well done, curtain! You’ve finally made it.
