You will have to kill me first to harm these animals. This is my life now. One new volunteer, Tabitha Conquest, who joined four weeks ago, now appreciates the brief moments of sitting under the trees, enjoying the sound of the rustling branches and the company of the pigs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She recalls her first visit: \u201cIn this worrying time with the pandemic, I was able to just stop, relax and be mindful of these darling piglets, fast asleep with full tummies and their mum close by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt made me feel calm and privileged to be able to have a place like Happy Pants that I can come to in this anxious time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/centreforjournalismprojects.co.uk\/InvictaNews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_7513-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>One of the multiple rescued cats<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Founder Amey is optimistic if they can get over the minor hurdle of relocating, and that support continues to grow \u2013 then the ranch can continue to flourish and grow in the future to further educate and innovate, whilst simultaneously offering community outreach during the Covid crisis and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She hopes to open a vegan caf\u00e9, set up an education centre where people can learn about the animals and to expand the charities work with mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said: \u201cMassive dreams just becoming bigger and better. Helping more animals. Helping more people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is becoming like a global domination. That would be great. That\u2019s my ultimate goal, global domination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe sky is the limit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amey said while donations are always welcome, people can also get involved by hosting their own fundraisers, spreading the word or even by mucking in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can never have enough helping hands here.
