Local \u2013 Two far-right members jailed after Sevenoaks fight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two members of the far-right group Generation Identity have\nbeen jailed for a brawl outside The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident, which happened in April 2018, involved two\nmembers of the GI group fighting against members of the far-left group Antifa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the fight broke out between members of the same far-right\ngroup but soon realised that they were on the same side, and split themselves\nup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National \u2013 The vigil for London Bridge victims<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A vigil was held in London today to honour the two victims\nof Friday\u2019s terrorist attack on London Bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, were killed by an\nattacker, who was released from prison after serving just half his sentence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn attended the vigil,\nwhich was held near Fishmongers\u2019 Hall, where the attack started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International \u2013 Start of the Chile Climate Summit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today marks the start of the 25th<\/sup> United Nations\nClimate Change Conference, which kicks off in Madrid, and is set to last until\nFriday the 13th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was originally meant to be held in Chile, but had to be\nmoved as a result of the continuing civil unrest, following price hikes to\ntheir train stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teenage environmental activist, Greta Thunberg, is set to\nattend at some point over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entertainment \u2013 Doctor Who to return on New Years Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BBC has confirmed that Doctor Who will return on New Years Day, to kick off the twelfth series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is set to begin with a two-part special episode, named\nSpyfall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside current doctor, Jodie Whittaker, it was also announced that Stephen Fry and Lenny Henry will be joining the cast, although their roles are still under wraps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lionel Messi won his record sixth trophy after beating out Liverpool\ndefender Virgil van Dijk and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who was also\nchasing his sixth Ballon d\u2019Or. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messi led Barcelona to their 26th<\/sup> La Liga title,\nnotching 51 goals and 21 assists in 49 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

World Cup winner Megan Rapinoe won the women\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or,\nbeating out England\u2019s Lucy Bronze and fellow USA teammate Alex Morgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Donald Trump landed late on Monday night, he will meet the Queen tomorrow at Buckingham Palace at a reception, where many world leaders will meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is in anticipation of the NATO summit on Wednesday in Watford, which will also act as a celebration for the 70th<\/sup> anniversary of NATO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
