Halloween events crawling over Kent

If you’re looking to be spooked this October, look no further than Kent as an array of fangtastic Halloween events are taking place over the half term.
From crafty pumpkin carving to ghostly castle tours and wicked fright nights, do you dare to read on…?
Here is Kent Buzz’s run down of Kent’s best events:
Ford Amherst, Chatham
The ultimate scare night returns for its 39th year, making it Europe’s longest running scare attraction. This truly terrifying event, recommended for teens and adults, includes horror scenes with live actors and special effects as well as scare mazes and escape rooms. Are you brave enough to enter the haunted house?
The scares will begin on Friday, October 21 to Sunday, October 30.
Leeds Castle
The famously known top attraction in Kent will be hosting activities throughout October half term (October 22 – October 30).
There will live performers sharing stories of the witch’s resident to Leeds Castle, as well as a pumpkin trail, a fancy dress competition and a ‘horrifying’ maze adventure which leads to an underground mythical Grotto.
Dover Castle
Along the Southern coast of Kent, Dover Castle revealed they have organised a quest, battling mythical monsters who are hidden in the Castle grounds. The quest will be accompanied by comic book characters Dennis the Menace, Gnasher and their Beano pals.
A comedy rat will take over the Great Tower Kitchen to entertain with stories and songs of his explorations of the castle.
Adults can join a ghost tour of the grounds where stories of supernatural sightings in the castle will be told.
Reindeer Centre, near Ashford
The Reindeer Centre has converted their barn into a ‘creepy’ Halloween cave. Inside the cave, find monster dances, competitions and a ‘Tunnel of Terror’ where you can meet meerkats, reptiles and of course, reindeers.
Halloween activities begin at the centre tomorrow (Saturday, October 15, and events will run on selected dates through the month until Sunday, October 30.
Cyclopark, Gravesend
At this ‘Not So Scary Halloween Adventure,’ expect ghost hunts and creepy crawlies as well as children’s halloween entertainment.
These events will run from Thursday, October 27 to Sunday, October 30.
Tickets for all events can be booked online on their websites.
