NHS Emergency Plan

Male and female healthcare workers discussing at reception desk. Multi-ethnic nurses and doctor are working at hospital. They are in uniforms.
The government has committed to providing thousands more hospital beds and 800 additional ambulances as part of a strategy to “fix” emergency care in the NHS.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak turns down talk about making adjustments to the salary for nurses.
However, ahead of the major strikes of NHS employees next week, he stated that while he would “love” to see the NHS employees paid more, He does not want to raise taxes to fund it, and he is seeking to “control” inflation.
Nurses and doctors are not happy with these terms as more supplies will not make up for the staff shortage and overcrowded A&E centres.
As I just spent 6 hours in A&E this week for some stitches, it is obvious the situation isn’t getting better.
