A student from Kent has been unable to attend their university lectures in person at all this year due to pain caused by Ehlers Danlos syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arwen Waters, originally from Parkwood, Kent, studies Psychology with Criminology at De Montfort University in Leicester, but the syndrome which affects their connective tissues has left them wheelchair bound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost two years into their course, Ms Waters is concerned about the impact of their health condition on their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They said: “I’ve felt like I’ve almost lost the nine grand, or whatever it costs for uni this year, because I haven’t been able to go in to my lessons and lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s education I would like to have had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
