Lewis Hamilton has completed a sensational move to Ferrari for the 2025 season after signing a multi-year deal through at least the 2026 season.

The Italian team confirmed the news on Thursday night and it has left fans and pundits alike stunned by the prospect of the Brit racing in red.

It brings to an end a 26-year partnership with Mercedes, including a historic stretch of six drivers’ world championships and seven constructors’ titles.

He will partner Ferrari starlet Charles Leclerc when he joins the Maranello based outfit, leaving Spanish driver Carlos Sainz without a seat beyond season.

The market cap of the company grew by over $8 billion after the announcement of his singing, showing how significant the move is for the sport and the team.
