Second crucial piece of data from EgyptAir flight recovered

It is thought we are closer to gaining further information about what caused the EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo to crash in the Mediterranean last month as the second ‘black box’ has today been found.

Investigators in Egypt having been looking for the ‘black box’ flight recorders to gain access to crucial information about the incident. The two pieces include a flight data recorder which has 25 hours of flight information, and a voice recorder which keeps the audio from the last two hours in the cockpit.

This flight data recorder was today recovered, and is the second crucial piece of evidence found as search teams from Egypt yesterday found the cockpit voice recorder rom the wreckage of Flight MS804, which disappeared from radars on 19th May, along with all 66 passengers.
