A 54-year-old has been jailed after being found with firearms and piles of illegal drugs in rural Kent.
David Allen has been sentenced to six years in prison after his trial at Maidstone Crown Court this Wednesday.
Authorities discovered two guns along with 60kg of Class A drugs in a nearby storage container that Allen had access to.
Detective Stacey Chapman made the point that guns and violence “go hand-in hand with drug dealing”.
Officers from Kent and Essex obtained a search warrant at an industrial estate near Bethesdan on 27 July 2023.
The seized drugs have an estimated street value of £500,000.
Along with these were two small guns, which the suspect claimed to be antiques, but were proven to be viable by authorities.
£70k worth of cash was also found at the scene, along with drug packaging, money counting machines and a purity test for cocaine.
