Brianna Ghey, who was a transgender girl, was murdered in broad daylight in February last year.
She was stabbed 28 times in a Cheshire park back in February 2023, leading to her death.
At 11am on Friday 2nd February, the killers were identified and named, with both being 16-year-olds Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe.

The killers were arrested only 48 hours after the incident.
Brianna’s sister – Alisha Ghey, wrote a statement which was read by a prosecutor in court, discussing her struggles after her sister’s death.
“Brianna was always at home and I didn’t know that she’d left that day – I find being in my own home uncomfortable and lonely,” Ghey said.
Her statement continues: “I now feel anxious, and struggle to trust new people that I meet because it was Brianna’s friend who she trusted who ended her life.
“No-one can ever make me feel better. The only thing that would is hearing her voice and laughter, and I must carry that pain for the rest of my life.”
