Last night’s Super Moon from all around the world

Last night was the last super moon we can expect to see until 2020 according to NASA. People flocked to Twitter to share pictures of the Earth’s lunar bestie.

The Super Worm Equinox moon which coincidentally marked the first day of Spring last night will be the last of its kind for the year. This was the first time the two events happened at the same time in the last 20 years.

A super moon occurs when a full moon is closest to the earth. The March full moon is named the worm moon as it is often the time when frost melts and earthworms become more active.

But without further ado here are some of the most stunning images of the moon from around the world.
