Jones remains confident as England prepare to clash the All-Blacks

The Rugby World Cup continues this weekend where England face New Zealand in the semi-final on Saturday.

England head coach Eddie Jones has encouraged his team to maintain confidence after “identifying a number of areas” where he believes his side can put pressure on the Kiwi’s.

He said: “England have some world-class players. If that group play to their best, they will win it.”

Despite their good performances England still come into this game as the underdogs, New Zealand have won 15 out of their past 16 meetings with England including all three of their previous World Cup encounters.

South Africa will go up against Wales in the other semi-final matchup, with the Welsh hoping to continue their dominance after winning the six nations in March.

Jonathan Davies and Leigh Halfpenny find themselves in Gatland’s squad once-more who recently heralded Halfpenny as “probably the best defensive full-back in the world.”

He said: “He is defensively probably the best full back in the world in terms of his aerial game and coverage defensively.”

“Bringing in the experience of someone like Leigh gives us a different element.”

Halfpenny who has only made one start in the tournament so far replaces Williams in what will be his 85th cap for Wales.
