Talks between May and Trump to begin shortly
Theresa May will soon be entering the White House as she begins talks with the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
The meeting is expected to last around an hour and will discuss issues such as trade, security and the future of NATO.
In a speech to the US Republicans, May stated that the UK and US have a “special relationship”.
May will be the first world leader to speak with Donald Trump. This comes after a week of controversy as Trump confirmed that a number of opposed policies will be going ahead.
