It has been a very eventful week for the Royal family, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plans step back as senior members of the royal family and become financially independent dominating the headlines.
The Sussex’s mission to become financially independent seems to have gotten off to a bumpy start with their attempt to trademark “Sussex Royal” (also their Instagram page handle) being delayed after an Australian filed a complaint against their filing for an unknown reason.
On Monday, Harry gave a speech at a dinner for his HIV charity Sentebale explaining why he and Meghan made the decision to stand down, before flying to Vancouver to be reunited with Meghan and his son Archie.
It’s currently unknown exactly how the couple intend to be financially independent but it’s been estimated that they could make millions of pounds in possible book deals, television and speaking engagements.
