Aldi supermarket has been closed for 10 days while it undergoes refurbishment.

The shop closed on Tuesday in Wincheap, Canterbury and the shop is set to stay close until Thursday, March 3.

A spokesperson for Aldi said: “We closed our Wincheap Lane store on Tuesday, February 22 to carry out refurbishment works.

“When we reopen on March 3, the store will be in our new layout, which ensures more space for fresh chilled and food-to-go ranges.

“It will be much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles. We will keep the community updated on developments.”

This comes after many closures to Kent high street across the county.
