The O2 will reopen its doors to visitors at 10 a.m. today following extensive safety assessments that determined the facility to be safe, secure, and structurally sound. The Entertainment District, The O2 Arena, and indigo at The O2 are all part of this.

LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 18: Members of the public stop to look at the damage caused by heavy winds that tore open the famous canopy roof of the O2 Arena in Greenwich causing widespread damage on February 18, 2022 in London, England. The Met Office has issued two rare, red weather warnings for the South and South West of England today as Storm Eunice makes landfall. Much of the rest of the UK is under amber and yellow warnings with winds up to 100 mph, rain and snow expected. This is the worst storm to hit the UK for three decades. All booked events at The O2 arena or indigo at The O2 will go place as scheduled beginning Friday, February 25.

This includes the following at the O2 arena such as Matchroom Boxing presents Okolie vs Cieslak (Sunday 27 February) and Dave (Monday 28 February and Tuesday 1 March). While the majority of the venue was unaffected by Storm Eunice – as the storm’s damage was limited to a small area – the following areas and attractions, such as Costa Coffee, Icon Outlet at the O2, and CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice, will remain closed for the time being while essential works are completed.

The O2 says that safety work to repair any damage to the roof will continue in the coming weeks, and that as part of that, Entrance H has built a new entrance tunnel allowing visitors to the arena to enter and exit safely and shielded from the elements.

Ticket holders will receive direct communication about entering and exiting the arena.
