‘Stand Up To Racism’ Screens Calais Children Film

Medway Stand Up To Racism screened ‘A Case To Answer’ in an attempt to raise awareness about the continuing crisis for the Calais Children.

The film, directed by Sue Clayton, was shown at St. Nicholas Church in Strood on Monday 4th February. The film deals with the aftermath of the 2016 Calais Jungle closure, and how a year on the children who were denied entry to the UK by the Home Office are surviving throughout France.

The London Independent Film Award winner has been screening the film throughout the country, in attempts to show the continual relevance and failings of the Home Office in regards to the safety and protection of the children displaced after the Jungle’s closure.
