Halpern Gallery hosts Time to Talk Day 2019

The Halpern Gallery at the Nucleus Arts Centre in Chatham hosted a Time to Talk Day event as part of Children’s Mental Health Week.

The event is aimed at reducing stigma surrounding mental health problems, by promoting healthy dialogue around mental health.

CEO and director of the Halpern Gallery, Dalia Halpern-Mathews was at the event and believes that events like Time to Talk can offer a great alternative to people struggling to find effective treatment mental health treatment with waiting lists getting even longer and funding cuts.

 

Charlotte Ralph is the Enrichment Co-Ordinator at the event and is responsible for organising events like Time to Talk day. She says that promoting healthy conversation around mental health has the ability to save lives.
