A huge bright meteor lit the night skies of Britain yesterday, with some witnesses describing the event as a blue and green flash.
At 3:16 am of Thursday, the meteor burned up on the atmosphere, lighting up the sky with a bright light
Some of the places where it was reportedly seen include London, Hampshire, Stafford and on the east coast of England, with some naming it the St Patrick’s Day meteor because of its colour.
The UK Meteor Observation Network (UKMON) says it is the largest meteor it has ever recorded and that it lasted just a couple of seconds, but they were able to catch it on their cameras.
