Trainspotting 2 starts shooting in May

It’s less than two months before the sequel of the iconic film Trainspotting starts shooting. Danny Boyle who will stand behind the camera once again, managed to convince all of the original cast to reprise their roles as Renton (Ewan McGregor), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Spud (Ewen Bremner) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle).

The characters who struggled with heroin addiction in the first film, are said to face even more darkness in the sequel. Just like the original, the film will be based on Irvine Welsh’s book “Porno”, which describes events happening 10 years after the “Trainspotting”. Renton and friends will be looking for trouble (and possibly drugs) making their first steps in the porn industry.
