Southern Rail Train Strikes Updates: Will you be affected?

1 000 train drivers said today that they will ballot for strike action. Southern Rail passengers will be facing new disruption on train services throughout London and the South. These new strikes will be declared on the 18th of November.

Once decided, drivers and train guards from the RMT and Aslef Union will go on a three day strike on Tuesday 6th December.

Train services have been disrupted for the past three days, after workers went on a 72 hour train strike because of Southern rail’s plans to operate driver-only trains. Trains have been overcrowded, running late, and passengers have experienced uncomfortable and delayed journeys.
