Giraffe caught giving birth on camera in Kent wildlife centre
A Kent wildlife sanctuary has captured the miracle of birth as a giraffe gives birth to a baby boy and guides it through the first shaky steps.
The new giraffe mum Lehana has been closely watched by the team at Port Lympne Reserve during her pregnancy and as a result managed to capture this moment. This is the reserve’s second baby this year.
The amazing footage was shared by the Aspinall Foundation to their Facebook and YouTube pages.
The Aspinall Foundation is an animal conservation charity that works in conjunction with Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Reserve in Kent.
