Murder details of prolific Kent-based paedophile revealed

One of the most notorious paedophiles based in Kent was revealed to have died by being ‘strangled with a guitar string’.

Richard Huckle, 33, was found dead in his cell at HMP Full Sutton on October 13 last year. He was facing 22 life sentences with a minimum of 25 years in prison for countless sex offence acts against children.

A 29-year-old man was arrested by Humberside Police earlier this week on suspicion of murdering Huckle.

Murdered in prison: Huckle is said to have been strangled with a guitar string and have condoms forced down his throat

New sources told the Sun Online that he “wasn’t just stabbed, he was strangled with a guitar string”. Numerous sources are also reporting that Huckle had condoms stuffed down his throat before being fatally stabbed with a makeshift blade.

Ashford-born Huckle, was a freelance photographer who admitted to committing 71 sexual crimes against 191 children while working abroad in Malaysia. He would frequently distribute images of the abuse on the dark web.

“We are awaiting their decision regarding charges”, a force spokesperson said in relation to the arrest on Monday.
