Craig Savage, of no fixed address, will appear in Lewes Crown Court today.

He is charged with the murders of Michelle Savage and Heather Whitbread in Bexhill Road, St Leonards in March.

Savage also faces a robbery charge in relation to the theft of a 0.22 calibre rifle firearm and ammunition from a 1066 Target Sports in St Leonards.

He has prevoiusly denied two counts of murder and one count of robbery at Lewes Crown Court.

The trial is expected to last for two weeks.
