Norway’s main broadcaster announces Nobel Peace Prize Winner too early
Norwegian broadcaster NRK might have exposed who the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize is a few hours too soon.
During their morning news broadcast, a line of text popped up on the screen saying “The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded Ernest Moniz and Ali Akbar Salehi.”
Further it says that they are given the prize for the nuclear deal, which includes that Iran reduces its nuclear program.
NRK says it was an error, and that they do not know who the winner is.
It is not known if Moniz and Salehi are the winners as of yet. The winner(s) will be announced on the Nobel Institute in Oslo on Friday at 10.00 am.
