During lockdown, smaller grass roots football clubs who rely heavily on ticket sales and prize money to keep their clubs going have suffered massivly. With National Grant funding having ended in January, all teams from the National North and South league, voted last week to cancel their season, as most clubs would have fallen into debt. This makes fans all around the country scared for the future of their clubs.
