Kent Cooking Society closes due to lack of members just weeks after damning report on millennial’s cooking skills

Kent Cooking Society is now defunct after it only managed to gain 16 members at it’s peak.

A possible reason for this is young people’s lack of interest in spending time mixing ingredients from scratch.

It is suggested that the generation of 16-34 year olds have been left lacking basic culinary skills by a report claiming a quarter of millennial have no interest in cooking whatsoever.

I spoke to the ex-president, Manuel Crepin, about why the society has closed.
