Adoption Awareness Week in the UK – Get Involved

Charities have been raising awareness this week as part of this year’s National Adoption Week. Reporter Leah Wood has more.

Each year there are around 4000 children in England waiting in foster care for permanent homes, according to leading charity, Adoption UK

These children are unable to live with their birth families and many have had unsettled starts in life.

This week is all about highlighting the importance of finding loving and stable homes for these vulnerable children.
