American Actress Emily Jean “Emma” Stone turns 31 today. She was born on the 6th November 1988 in Arizona to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone. This will be her first birthday as a married woman after getting secretly married to Dave McCary in September. They had been dating for three years before deciding to tie the knot.
Her life of acting started from the young age of four. However, her rise to stardom started with her debut feature film role in Teen hit Superbad. After that, she featured in a number of films as the supporting cast before starring as the lead in Easy A in 2010. Loosely based on Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, Stone was nominated for a Bafta Rising Star award and a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role.
The Academy Award-winning actress was nominated for her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2014 for her role in the black-comedy Birdman. While she did not win it that year, it wasn’t long before she won her first Oscar for Best Actress for starring in the 2016 musical La La Land, alongside Ryan Gosling.
